What is a Precast
Jersey Barrier?
Precast concrete jersey barrier supplier in NCR
Consistent Profile Geometry
Steel-mould manufactured to exact dimensional tolerances. Every unit fits flush end-to-end with zero field adjustment.
High Compressive Strength
Manufactured with M-30 grade concrete as standard, meeting the structural demands of high-speed highways.
Asymmetric Connectivity
Connecting each barrier end asymmetrically ensures continuous, stable runs, critical for long median & perimeter deployments.
Weatherproof & Low Maintenance
Precast concrete performance is unaffected by UV, rain, or temperature cycling. Zero painting, sealing, or maintenance.
3x Rapid Deployment
Factory-finished units ship directly to site, eliminating curing wait times and enabling fast-track installation.
Standards Compliant
Manufactured in compliance with relevant Indian standards for geometry, load classification, and material specification.
National Highways & Expressways
Median separation and lane segregation on NHAI corridors, state highways, and four- and six-lane expressway projects across Northern India.
Construction & Maintenance Zones
Site separation, work-zone protection, and temporary traffic management, achieved by defining the boundary between active traffic and construction zones.
Industrial & Urban Planning
Parking and logistics in industrial facilities, site protection (machinery and structural assets) from accidental impact, permanent urban median division on flyovers, grade separators, and city road widening projects.
Installation Guide
Mark the barrier centreline on the prepared subgrade or carriageway surface. Ensure the surface is level and compacted to design specification.
Each unit is lifted using the cast-in lifting hooks at centre. A hydraulic mobile crane or telescopic handler is used depending on site access. Units are set down along the marked centreline in sequence.
Once placed, adjacent units are aligned end-to-end. Galvanised connecting are inserted through the cast recesses at each end joint to lock units into a continuous, stable run.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the standard length of a Jersey Barrier supplied by BRHCInfra?
We supply Jersey Barriers in standard lengths of 1.0 m, 2.0 m, and 3.0 m. Custom lengths can be manufactured to project specifications. The 2.0 m unit is most commonly specified for highway median work.
What concrete grade are your Jersey Barriers manufactured in?
M-30 grade concrete is our standard specification for Jersey Barriers, appropriate for highway and expressway applications. Higher grades are available for projects with elevated structural or impact-resistance requirements.
Are your barriers compliant with NHAI and state PWD project specifications?
Yes. Our barriers are manufactured in accordance with applicable Indian standards governing precast concrete components and highway safety infrastructure. We can provide documentation to support your specification submission.
Can you supply both temporary and permanent barriers?
The same precast unit serves both temporary (work-zone) and permanent (median) applications. For temporary deployments, crane-liftable design enables removal and repositioning without damage to the units.
Do you handle delivery and installation, or supply only?
BRHCInfra operates as manufacturer, supplier, and installation contractor. We provide end-to-end support including manufacturing, planned logistics to site, and crane-assist placement by our installation team — a single-source solution for project teams that need accountability at every stage.
What is the lead time for a large highway project order?
Lead times depend on project volume and scheduling. With three operational plants across Northern India, we have the production capacity to support large-order requirements without compromising on delivery schedules. Contact us early in your project planning phase to lock in supply.
Can barriers be custom-painted or fitted with reflective strips?
Yes. Surface painting and provision for retroreflective strip application are available as project-specific requirements. Specify during the order phase and our team will accommodate accordingly.
